{Alex & Tessa’s Wedding @The Clearwater Sailing Center, Sandkey, FL 06/04/11}
This night truly blew by, seriously! This wedding was truly an inspiration for us, as Tessa called me months prior to booking, and when she did – we had less than 55 days to get it all completed. Her mom was certainly a trooper through the whole thank and she helped it to come out beyond my own wild imagination.
The theme that they were going for was more of a country vintage look, without all of the traditional Florida things. They pulled it off! They hired a moving company to deliver all of the props and furniture, amazing. Plenty of pictures will be posted.
As for the rest of the vendors: Affordable Catering did the food, and it was great as always. Photography was by Beautiful Weddings; this was my first time working with them and we seemed to click ok. Nothing more said or done. For the video, one of my favorite teams – Christina and Fred with Felton Video. And for the flowers, decor set up and DOC for the day, Nini Massey with Beyond Floral. This was also my first time working with them – and it went pleasantly well. I’m looking forward to working with her again (and her husband).
As for Tessa & Alex – I felt like their day/night was rushed: form the moment they arrived, into the intros, first dance, sit down – toast, eat, cake – dance and done. Truly, all within 1 1/2 hours. We had provided them not only the music, but also with the uplights. This night truly blew right by. They had a sparkler send off as well and off to their honeymoon suite. As for Mom and Dad, they were exhausted and I saw it on their face; but the day was beautiful and I don’t think it could have come out any better!
Congrats guys! Here was the evening:
